![]() Mark Barnhill - Guitars/Backup Vocals/Bandleader Mark is originally from Marshall County Ky. He and his Wife Sandy moved to Nashville originally in 1984 and stayed for 6 years, then moved back to Kentucky. In 1995 they decided to move back to Nashville, and have been there ever since. Mark has played in many bands over the years, including "April Fox", "Whitehorse", and "Yancy, Barnhill, & Dunkerson" . Mark uses Fender and Gibson guitars, Shure ULX and PSM Wireless systems, Crate Palomino V series Class A tube amps, and Charmin Ultra Soft. ![]() Andy Russ - Drums/Percussion Andy Russ, native of the Dayton, Ohio area began playing drums at the age of 7. Like any other musician, Andy Russ sees music as his passion. However, twenty-six-year-old Russ stands out with his high-energy playing skills that are instantly noticed once you see him perform. At age 16 he did his first studio session for a CD release with his church orchestra. Throughout high school he participated in marching band, jazz band, and did 2 years of indoor drumline. He received numerous accolades including the Louis Armstrong award for Jazz band. Russ credits renowned drummers such as Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, and Carter Beauford as influencing his drumming style. While still in high school he joined his first band that he played with for 3 years. By 2003 he got into a very successful local original band in Cleveland opening for such acts as Dierks Bentley, Gretchen Wilson, Joe Nichols and many more. He stayed with them until 2005 when he relocated to the Nashville area to further pursue his music career. Once in Nashville he began filling in with bands on downtown Broadway, which led to an offer to tour with the country/bluegrass duo, The Larkins. Now out on the road as a touring drummer, Russ was playing casinos and fairs from Arizona to the East coast, while also having the opportunity to open for Billy Dean and Exile in 2006. Check out Andy's website at www.myspace.com/andyrruss ![]() Wes Profitt - Bass/Backup Vocals Wes Profitt, a McEwen Tennessee native, grew up singing and picking his Bass guitar that his father gave him when he was 9 years of age. Wes's Parents Don and Mary Profitt loved Gospel Quartet music so by the age of 18 Wes was touring with Naomi and the Segos. After a 3 year run with Naomi, Wes settled down in Mcewen Tennessee to raise his family. Eventually the love for the music led him back to live performing,with local tennessee acts such as Donnie Moran, Christy Sheppard, Dale Scharre, Bronson Morgan, Kieth Cochran, Rancie, Newsom Station, Race Godson, and The Rivieras. Wes has opened shows for Blake Shelton, Ricochet, Charlie Louvin, Billy Currington. Wes and His wife Rena Make their home in Mcewen with their children. Wes's friends call him "Big Wes" because of his Big personality and his 6'4'' Frame.
